Description
Why buy this home?
As you step inside the property, the kitchen is on the right. This modern space features sleek white gloss units, complemented by a contrasting black worktop and stylish metro tile splashbacks. There is ample storage, along with integrated appliances including a dishwasher, double oven, and gas hob, plus space for a freestanding washing machine and fridge freezer.
To the rear of the property is a generously sized lounge diner, offering plenty of space for a dining table with six chairs and a corner sofa. A useful storage cupboard provides a convenient place to keep household items neatly tucked away. Thanks to the additional living space provided by the conservatory and garage conversion, the current owners have utilised this room as a cinema room for those movie nights with the family. Double doors lead into the conservatory, a versatile space currently used as a gym, but equally suitable as a dining room or snug. From here, doors open out onto the landscaped garden, which offers multiple seating areas, making it a great entertaining space.
Back in the main living area, there is access to the converted garage, which provides flexible accommodation and could be used as a study, playroom, or even a bedroom. This space also benefits from double doors leading out to the garden. The outdoor space has been thoughtfully designed, featuring decking, a gazebo, a raised pond, and low-maintenance artificial grass. To the side of the property, steps lead to a secluded “secret garden," offering additional privacy and space for a hot tub. There is also gated access to the front of the house.
Completing the ground floor is a convenient W/C.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms. The master bedroom is located at the front of the house and is a comfortable double room with fitted wardrobes and space for bedside tables. Bedroom two is also a double, while bedroom three is a single room, ideal as a home office or child’s bedroom. All bedrooms are served by the family bathroom, which features a three-piece suite with a shower over the bath.
This home benefits from a garage and driveway parking for two vehicles side by side, along with additional off-road parking.
Note:- The conservatory and the garage conversion are both virtually furnished.
More about the location...
Tattenhoe and Tattenhoe Park are adjacent districts of Milton Keynes in the ancient parish of Tattenhoe. It is located at the south-western edge of the city, not far from the ruins of Snelshall Priory. It contains Howe Park Wood, one of England's few remaining primeval woodlands, and home to a wide variety of wildlife.
The village was abandoned in the 16th century and had its own moated manor house and church (1540, perhaps 12th century). By the time redevelopment began, it consisted of just three farms and St. Giles's Church, but was recognised as a village rather than a hamlet.
The village also has the Tattenhoe Sports Pavilion, which is run by InspireAll (formerly Hertsmere Leisure) in partnership with the Milton Keynes Council. They offer the temporary home of Westcroft Library, as well as a lounge area next to the cafe and bar on site. The pavilion also has legacy playing fields, an astro turf available for hire, a meeting room available for hire and free parking on site.
Tattenhoe Valley Park is a delightful place for a walk, cycle or horse ride, with plenty of wildlife to enjoy in the necklace of ponds splashing over rocks and providing a fantastic habitat for insect, bird and water life.
Primary education is provided by Howe Park School (which has an Outstanding Ofsted report) and Secondary Education is provided by Shenley Brook End School.
